Special Offer April/May 2024 - Lifestyle Blocks

Animal health (and other matters) mentoring for your Lifestyle Block or Small-farm

Now is a great time to book in a visit to review or start your animal health (and other matters) plan for your lifestyle block because we are running a special introductory offer for the months of April and May. As every farm is different and you might have just a couple of calves or a whole menagerie the price is on an hourly basis for the time spent directly with you, your animals and farm. Book in during April or May and receive a whole 12 months of regular visits for half price. That’s just $75 + GST /hour. No reporting costs, no sign up fees. You are only paying for the time spend directly with me on your property and you can cancel at any time.

How does it work

  1. The focus of the visits is conversation and coaching. You will direct the conversation. You will decide what is important and where the discussion goes. This means you don’t pay for advice that is not relevant to you. You won’t be told what to do.

  2. We will start by understanding your situation and goals. That will give me a good idea of what you are wanting to achieve on your block and will give you clarity on this too. Then it’s over to you whether we look at the property and the animals or go over some of your burning animal health questions or concerns or discuss something entirely different. Each session we will build on our conversation, giving you the tools to achieve your goals and the sounding board to change them if desired. I guarantee the next time I visit you will be full of new ideas that you want to run past me.

  3. You will have access to all my animal health resources to reference in your own time and I can assist you in putting together a care calendar. Summary notes of each session will be provided. I won’t be doing the work and planning for you, I will partner with you to develop your own plan.

  4. Between us, we might not have all the answers straight away but we can decide whether to do further research or call on people in other fields of expertise. Examples might be soil or tree experts or even insurance or financial advisors. I am open to discussing any and all aspects of your situation, not just animal health, and helping you develop the resources to move in the direction you want.

  5. Bookings can either be made all at the start of our time together, eg every first Monday of the month, or we can plan our next meeting as we go. There is no minimum number of visits or time commitment period.

  6. If the relationship is not working for either of us, that’s fine, we can move on. I believe that trust and rapport are the foundations for a successful working relationship and value that more highly than facts, information and outcomes.

  7. This special price does not cover time performing veterinary procedures.
